👋 Hi there! I’m Jess.

📑 I’m a nonfiction editor with over a decade of experience working on dissertations, theses, and books. I have a focus on developmental/structural editing and citations (APA/CMOS).

🖊 I also write and copyedit marketing materials like blog posts, newsletters, and brochures.

👥 I love to work with students and/or authors who are looking for help structuring their master’s thesis, dissertation, or book.

👩‍🏫 I graduated with a degree in Communications and a minor in Creative Writing from the University of Wyoming. I’m currently enrolled in the University of Chicago’s professional development certificate in Editing program.

🗺 I grew up in southern Louisiana, went to college in Wyoming, married a guy from South Dakota, lived in Michigan for a decade, and now call Colorado my home.

📖 I’m a voracious reader of fiction, especially historical romance, fantasy, urban fantasy, and young adult fantasy. I also love to cook!
